Many electronics draw a little power around the clock: TVs, game consoles, chargers and anything with a clock or remote.
What to do
- Use a power strip for your TV and entertainment area, and switch it off at night
- Unplug devices you rarely use
- Turn on power-saving settings on consoles and computers
- Don't unplug things that need constant power, like the fridge or medical equipment
