About Savings Lantern
Energy bills arrive every month, and most of us never look closer than the total. We write plain-English guides to the habits and simple fixes that lower them, and to the help that's there when a bill is hard to pay.
What we do
We publish home energy guides, an appliance energy cost calculator, a guide to help with energy bills, the Energy Checkup checklist and a free printable Home Energy Checkup Workbook. We send The Lantern Letter to people who sign up for it, and we're preparing the Lantern Energy Checkup, a paid self-paced course.
What we don't do
- We aren't a utility, energy supplier or contractor.
- We don't earn commissions from energy suppliers, solar installers or product makers.
- We never sell or share your email address.
- We never promise a specific saving; every home is different.
